Veena Muraleetharan is a recent graduate from Yale University, where she studied Medical Anthropology and Global Health with a focus on reproductive health, rights, and justice.
Muraleetharan deepened her interests in her studies as a Co-President of the Reproductive Justice Action League at Yale (RALY) and as an intern and volunteer at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
The young activist will be starting a position as an APIACS (Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies) Congressional Fellow, where she hopes to continue learning how to move towards a vision of health justice for all.
In her free time, Muraleetharan enjoys running and hiking and is a big fan of crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
