What inspired you to start your own company:
I was very fortunate to meet the two other co-founders at Carnegie Mellon. We shared the same passion for using cutting-edge technologies to bring a positive impact on society. While running a successful business, we aim to build solutions to make people's lives easier and healthier.
The idea for LittleMoochi resulted from the observation that unhealthy eating patterns are a significant contributor to a severe social issue: childhood obesity. Our research shows that today 1/3 of all U.S. children are obese or overweight, a statistic that more than tripled since 1970. We believe what we are doing – building an AI-powered digital pet to help children form positive eating habits at the age from 6-12 - is both a great business opportunity and a meaningful product that can help solve a serious social problem.
You were chosen to be on ProMazo's list of 40 Most Interesting Students for a reason. Do you have any advice for other students hoping to create their own success:
I want to tell students who wish to be an entrepreneur to keep an open mind, but don't let your brains fall out. Being an entrepreneur sometimes means you cannot get everybody's buy-in. You may hear voices like 'I think your idea is crazy.' While you should welcome all constructive suggestions, you need to keep your focus. If you believe you're doing the right thing, just keep going.

Biggest role models or inspirations:
Michelle Obama – as First Lady, she served as a role model for women. Mrs. Obama advocates for both poverty awareness, children's education, and healthy eating. I am very inspired by her public health initiative Let's Move, which aims to reduce childhood obesity and encourage a healthy lifestyle in children. In the future, I hope LittleMoochi can collaborate with Let's Move!
In my leisure time, I enjoy playing poker.
Before coming to CMU’s Tepper School of Business, I worked in the IT industry for more than ten years. I cherish all of my past experiences in global companies, and believe that my skill set and my experience will help me to lead LittleMoochi to great success. My team and I are very committed to LittleMoochi and we plan to continue working on LittleMoochi full-time after graduation.
