What inspired you to become a motivational speaker and advocate:
Coming from the environment that I did, I’ve been through a lot and believe it is important to encourage people like me to keep going. I really hope that through my actions and words, I can provide love and motivation to the people who need it most.
You were chosen to be on ProMazo’s list of Most Interesting Students for a reason. Do you have any advice for other students hoping to create their own success:
Success is different for everyone. In fact, I’m still in the process of figuring out what my own version is – but I know my definition of success includes mental health, happiness, and having a home. Regardless, I believe to find success you must ignore society's definition and focus on going after what you believe.
“Love conquers all.” - Virgil. These three words have constantly helped drive and push me forward.
Biggest role models or inspirations:
My biggest inspiration is my mother – she took the hard life for me so that I could see the easy and righteous path.
I’m a big introvert! I don’t have anxiety; however, I can’t be around people for too long.
Right now, my God is pushing me into a path of law and advocacy. I will take the LSAT this September and plan to be in law school next year. While I don’t know what branch of law I want to pursue, I know that I will use my degree to help those who need it the most.
