What inspired you to create Safar:
I have a moral responsibility to give back. Refugees suffer from lack of access to reliable information in the camps and NGOs struggle to communicate with each other, which subsequently affects the refugees. I could not wait until I graduated to do something about it, as a solution was direly needed. Hence, my team and I created Safar.
You were chosen to be on ProMazo’s list of Most Interesting Students for a reason. Do you have any advice for other students hoping to create their own success:
Have a vision. Where do you want to see yourself in one semester, one year, and five years? Then work hard every day to reach that goal. You will never ever feel ready and qualified enough for an opportunity; just show up and go for it, even if you are shaking. It is equally important to take care of your mental health. Work out, eat healthily, and sustain a healthy mind and body to help you reach your ambitious goals.
