What inspired you to start your own company:
When my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, I watched her struggle with many post-operative complications. I listened to my mother’s surgeon, Dr. Samuel Roy, express his frustrations with existing mastectomy bras and how they lack advancements in design, comfort, and features. This inspired me to not only want to help my mother, but millions of other women that undergo the same complications every day. With the expertise of Dr. Roy, a caring physician and highly skilled surgeon, we custom designed the Resilience Bra to help reduce the number of post-surgical complications women can experience after breast-related surgeries. If the Resilience Bra helps just one person, it will all be a total success.

Be confident. Believe in yourself and the places you can go. Always shoot for the moon and push yourself to be the biggest and best version of yourself, so that you can help and lead others to do the same.
My favorite quote is from my dad, “Be a leader, not a follower.” My dad has instilled this quote in me and I believe it has helped shape me into the person I am today.
Biggest role models or inspirations:
When my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer she underwent a lot of different treatments and surgeries. Throughout the entire process she continued to stay focused on me rather than herself. My father worked hard to make sure we were both taken care of and helped me through the difficult process of having a sick parent. To this day, they are my biggest support system in everything that I do, especially Three Strands. I would not be where I am today without them.
From the age of eight I created three different entrepreneurial ventures. From concession stands on a golf course, to jewelry design, to archery accessories, I have always considered myself to be an entrepreneur.
I love to hang out with my family and friends. My favorite tradition is going to a local convenience store every Saturday with my friends to get homemade ice cream, then go out on the lake for the afternoon. During the week I teach spin classes and stay active working out.
Before starting Three Strands Recovery Wear I wanted to go into the medical field as a Physician Assistant. Since starting my company, I have changed my career path and now want to continue building my company into a large recovery wear business to help as many patients as possible.
